The travel guide has been through San Francisco with a close comb this summer.
It is definitely one of our favorite cities. Lots of cozy town, small crooked and steep streets, exciting museums, wide white sand beaches with huge waves and foam on them, sea lions, cable cars and fantastic restaurants and cafes on the strip. Far more than you can reach on an ordinary holiday.

A tip: Remember both summer clothes and warm clothes. If there is a big city where the weather can surprise, it has to be San Francisco. 12 degrees in July was at least a surprise for us in those parts.
