Historical Map of London puzzle with 540 pieces from Architoys
Interesting historical map of Milan from 1870. Published in 1870 and entitled Milan as it is nowadays , this map was sold in the shop of the cartographer Luigi Ronchi at number 4 in the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II. The map is very detailed and divided into districts, marked with different colors. On the left is a list of the streets, and on the right the main “establishments” and their location. Among these are administrative buildings, archives, libraries, warehouses, schools and high schools, theaters and barracks. There is also a short text explaining how the city gates worked and their connection to the payment of customs duties.
Puzzles with cards are extra challenging for many puzzle enthusiasts and therefore extra fun to solve. A really good gift idea!
