Puzzle by Michael Storrings
Michael Storrings is an American illustrator who has won numerous awards for his detailed, energetic and colorful illustrations for e.g. numerous puzzles with 500 and 1000 pieces.
His heart beats for New York, where he lives, and he also loves winter and Christmas. That's why many of the motifs on the puzzles are from New York, with the big city covered in soft white snow and light in the windows, so you can really sense the Christmas atmosphere in every puzzle piece.
Occasionally, however, Michael Storrings takes a detour and draws beautiful Paris or fantastic London or an amusement park in the summer.
The exciting thing about Michael Storring's motifs is that they often only come into their own when you start putting the puzzle together. Only there do you discover the incredibly many details and quirks that make up a big city, the many different people with and without dogs, on bikes, busy or relaxed.
